As a lifelong baby lover and mom of five, I’ve dedicated my days to caring for babies as a nanny, Labor and Delivery Tech, NICU nurse, and now as the founder of Lou Lou and Company. Our family business is built on one simple mission: helping babies be happy.
It all began with a quest to find the perfect swaddle for my first baby, Olive. After years of swaddling hundreds of NICU babies, I knew the power of a snug swaddle to calm and comfort. Frustrated with popular muslin swaddles that didn’t work, I took matters into my own hands. I spent countless hours testing and selecting the best materials, and while bouncing Olive on my knee, I sewed the first Lou Lou blanket—silky soft, stretchy, and perfect for a snug swaddle. What started as a personal solution quickly became a beloved essential for families worldwide.
