Lift a flap. Find a surprise. Fall in love with fall. Cottage Door Press’s Autumn in the Forest is a lively, interactive Lift-a-Flap board book that takes toddlers on a cozy walk through the forest alongside the most industrious little chipmunk you’ve ever met. He’s busy — collecting walnuts, acorns, and buckeyes before winter arrives — and little ones will love helping him find them all. Along the way there are pumpkins to admire, apple trees to peek under, pears ready for gathering, and a forest floor blanketed in nuts. And when the day is done? One very snug chipmunk, safe in his burrow. The perfect book for a fall afternoon on the couch with your favorite little one.
